Moon jellyfish ephyras in the Grevelingen, the Netherlands.

Here’s a quick photo from diving the Grevelingen yesterday. The moon jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) ephyras are budding off en masse right now. They are everywhere! To give you some sense of scale, the jellyfish in this photo are probably between one and five centimeters in diameter, so you can imagine just how many there are in the water.

    This is great! I love the pastel color of the water and transparency of the jellies. Nice work.
