Exhibition at Tergooiziekenhuizen
I’m very pleased to announce an exhibition of my work at the Tergooi Hospital in Blaricum, the Netherlands.
When I took the plunge into underwater photography only a year ago I couldn’t have imagined the results would be turned into an exhibition so soon, so I’m pretty excited. From the pond in the backyard to the French river Yonne; from the Eastern Scheldt estuary to the Moluccan Sea on expedition with the National Museum of Natural History: the exhibit shows the results of a year of underwater photography.
It’s the largest exhibition of my work so far—there will be 23 photos on display—and organizing it while trying to finish a master’s research project has been interesting, going back and forward between the molecular lab and the photo lab. I’m still working on the final preparations. It’ll be good to see everything hanging next week.
The exhibit can be visited daily from October 31 to December 31, 2010 at Tergooiziekenhuizen, locatie Blaricum (Rijksstraatweg 1, 1261 AN Blaricum), in the exhibition space of the hospital (floor -1). The opening will take place on November 28, from 13.30–15.00h.
If you’re planning to visit, let me know, and I’ll see if I can make it there!
